ROOTs
Context
The ROOT project is structured around three main axes. Firstly, ROOT aims to bring young people together around the civic values of discovering and protecting local and regional heritage. Secondly, the project aims to draw attention to the increasingly central role of social skills, which will enable younger generations to strengthen their resilience and better adapt to the professional developments brought about by the ecological transition. Finally, ROOT aims to highlight sustainable practices in the craft sector as a professional model for young people that combines heritage and eco-responsible practices.
How?
We will design non-formal and participatory educational tools and methods for young people to facilitate the distribution of knowledge and skills of professionals in the heritage sector and to generate collective and intergenerational reflection and learning. Co-creation workshops with young people will allow these resources to be adapted to the real needs of the target group. They will improve socio-professional skills, raise awareness of civic values and provide training on heritage promotion.
Here, young people, associations, artists and citizens will be able to connect with us and with each other through workshops, socio-cultural events, neighbourhood parties, artist residencies, self-awareness workshops and feminist self-defence workshops.
